How does RFN keep up with over 18,000 weather forecasts per week?
| | | RFN's Corporate Asset! Our Announcer Software
Created in 2004 by Radio Forecast Network and Digital Crunch, ManageWX™, our proprietary announcer software, allows the RFN team of more than 60 meteorologists and forecasters to see, in one screen shot, exactly how each affiliate station wants their weather presented---the open, the close, the sponsor, the length of the feed, the daypart in which it airs, and, of course, the weather data specific to that station's coverage area.
Once recorded, it's uploaded to RFN's website and available for download by the station---either through the station's automation system or manually by a station staff member.
When and How Can My Station Begin Receiving Forecasts and Severe Weather Alerts Through RFN?
You can begin in as little as 48 hours!
Here's how you get started...
| | | 1) Fill Out an RFN Station Affiliate Agreement. Sign, Scan and email to us---larry@RFNmedia.com
Click here to fill out the agreement. | | | 2) Fill Out a Station Submission Form.
Click here for the station submission form.
Please fill in every field.
Make sure you include the times you would like your feeds delivered. If your first weathercast of the day airs at 6:10a, please enter 5:45a for this field to give your station's downloader time to load it into the system. If you use Digital Jukebox's Audio Download software program---Radio Spider, ($99.00 cost from www.digitaljukebox.com), your automation system will do this for you.
